Oriental Beef

1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak (about 3/4 " thick)
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can Campell'sŪ tomato soup
3 Tbs. soy sauce
1 Tbs. vinegar
1 tsp. garlic salt
2-3 Tbs. brown sugar
1 Tbs. oil
4-6 dried red peppers OR 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup green pepper, sliced into chunks
3/4 cup onion, sliced into chunks
1 cup carrot, sliced
1/4 - 1/2 cup water chestnuts

Combine tomato soup, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic salt and brown sugar. Set aside.

Slice beef very thin. Heat oil in large frying pan or wok. Stir fry the beef until meat is almost cooked to desired doneness and the juices have evaporated.

Add green peppers, onions, carrots and dried peppers or pepper flakes. Continue to stir fry until veggies are to your desired doneness. Add water chestnuts and combined sauce ingredients. Heat until it boils.

Serve over hot cooked rice.
