Prime Rib

1) use your favorite rub
2) set the meat out for a few hours so it is room temperature before you bake it.(very important step).
3) set the oven at 500°
4) allow 5 minutes baking time per pound
5) turn the oven off and DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR
6) leave roast in oven for two hours (it's still cooking).
7) slice into servings


serve with horseradish sauce and au jus. You will have a perfect prime rib every time with this method.

!f you have a roast that weighs 4.63 lbs, you would bake it for 23 minutes @ 500°. (4.63 lbs. x 5 minutes = 23 minutes).
