Salmagundi

1-1/2 to 2 lbs. ground beef
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
3 ribs celery, chopped
2 carrots, shredded or finely diced
3 medium cloves garlic
l can (l6 oz.) black beans, drained and rinsed
l can (l6 oz.) corn, drained
l can (l6 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
l/4 cup chopped green pimento-stuffed olives
l/2 tsp. cinnamon
l/2 tsp. salt
2 to 3 dashes hot pepper sauce
Freshly ground pepper to taste


Brown the ground beef; place in crockpot. Add remaining ingredients; mix to combine. Cover and cook on low for 8 to l0 hours (or high for 4 to 5).
