1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pound ground chuck
1/2 Cup tomato juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. Lawry's seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. Kitchen bouquet
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
In a large skillet over medium heat, saute garlic in oil until it begins to brown. Add onion and saute until soft. Add meat, stirring constantly with a fork to crumble as finely as possible. When meat is brown, add all
remaining ingredients and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally until the liquid cooks out (about 15-20 minutes). Spoon onto hamburger buns.
Makes 4 regular or 8 small sandwiches

Maid Rite Loose Hamburger

2 lb. hamburger (85% lean)
1/2 cup hot water
1 Tbsp. beef bouillon crystals
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Accent
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt
pepper
Have ready diced onions, pickles, mustard, ketchup, and cheese, if you want a Cheeserite. Fix buns on squares of wax paper. Add hamburger and other ingredients, fold up and let set at least 3 minutes.

Maid Rites

2 lbs. hamburger
1 cup beer
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1-1/2 teaspoons white pepper
salt
onions, dill pickles, mustard

Place hamburger in a skillet and cover with water. Simmer until hamburger is completely done, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain well. Add beer, sugar, dry mustard and white pepper and simmer for 15 minutes. Salt to taste. Place onions, dill pickles and mustard on steamed bun.
