Beef Sandwich: Maid Rite by katemarie

WHO a radio station in Des Moines:
Maid Rite

2 lbs ground round
2 cups finely chopped onion
4 teaspoons beef bouillon (can use a soup base)
2 teaspoons yellow mustard
1 can beer


Brown beef (5 minutes), add onion, simmer (5 minutes), sprinkle bouillon or soup base over meat then add enough beer (any kind, it's a great tenderizer) to cover meat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. When ready to eat stir in the mustard. Don't worry about the alcohol in the beer it cooks out.
