Shepherd's Pie

Sheppards Pie

2 lbs. ground beef
l onion
2 (15 oz.)cans French style green beans (drained)
2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans tomato soup
l large pkg. instant mashed potatoes
l cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
salt and pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Fry ground beef and onions. Drain. In large bowl put beans and soup, stir; add drained beef and onions.

Put in casserole dish. Make up instant potatoes per pkg. directions and spread across top, making sure all edges are sealed.

Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Bake at 375 until cheese melts and casserole bubbles.
