Spinach Lasagna Casserole
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained and squeezed dry
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup small curd creamed cottage cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. ground beef
l clove garlic or 1 tsp minced garlic
1 pkg. Betty Crocker Hamburger HelperŪ for lasagna
3 cups hot water
Heat oven to 375.
Mix cheeses.
Cook beef and garlic in 10 inch skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally making sure you break up beef finely; drain.
Mix beef mixture, spinach, uncooked pasta sauce mix and water in ungreased 2 qt. baking dish or casserole dish.
Spoon cheese over mixture evenly.
Either refrigerate overnight and cook next day or bake immediately, uncovered for 40 to 50 minutes until top is golden brown and sauce is bubbly.
If refrigerated more baking time is required; if you bring it out to warm to room temperature bake 40 to 50 minutes.
