Low-Fat Slow Cooker Beef Stew with Shiitake Mushrooms

12 new potatoes (1 1/2 lbs.) cut into fourths
1 med. onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 pkg. (8 oz.) baby-cut carrots (about 30)
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced or 2 cups sliced regular white mushrooms
1 can (16 oz.) whole tomatoes, unddrained
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed beef broth
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried marjoram leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1/2" pcs.


Mix all ingredients except beef in 3 1/2 to 4 qt. slow cooker. Add beef (do not stir). Cover and cook on LOW 8-9 hrs. or until vegetables and beef are tender. Stir well before serving.
