Beef Stroganoff

2 lbs. Tenderloin or sirloin
1/4 cup Butter (or marg.)
6 oz. Can of sliced mushrooms, drained
2 cans (10.5 oz.) Condensed beef broth (or homemade stock)
1/3 cup Instant minced onions (or 1 small onion)
1/4 cup Ketchup
1 1/2 tsp. Garlic salt
1/3 cup Flour
2 cups Sour cream
1 8-10 oz. bag of stroganoff noodles
3 tbl. Butter or margarine

Cut meat across the grain into small pieces.

Melt butter in skillet and add drained mushrooms; cook for 5 minutes. Take out mushrooms; set aside.

Brown meat in same pan. Add broth, holding aside 2/3 cup for later use.

Add onions, ketchup and garlic salt; cover pan and simmer 15 minutes (or until meat tests tender).

Combine reserved broth and flour; add to skillet.

Now add mushrooms; heat to boiling. Boil for 1 minute, stirring. Add sour cream; heat through.

Cook wide noodles according to package directions; drain & toss with butter. Place noodles on large serving platter; spoon stroganoff over & serve.
