Teriyaki Steak

Get yourself a good grade of steak and cut in long narrow thin pieces about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long and marinate it in the following Teriyaki mix.

1/4 cup shoyu sauce
3 teaspoons brown sugar, white or honey may be used instead
2 to 3 garlic cloves mashed
2 to 3 teaspoons grated ginger root or 1 teaspoons ground ginger
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup sherry or beef broth.

Marinate the meat for several hours and then string pieces on bamboo sticks.

Broil over charcoal.
