Grilled Leg of Lamb

1 cup wine -- dry red
3/4 cup soy sauce
4 cloves garlic -- minced
1 tablespoon rosemary -- dried
1 tablespoon black pepper -- freshly ground
1 leg of lamb -- boneless,
butterflied
Combine all but the lamb, and mix well. Place lamb in glass pan. Pour mixture over lamb.
Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours, turning lamb frequently.
Heat grill. Drain meat, reserving marinade.
Grill basting with marinade, about 20 minutes each side. Test for doneness after 30 minutes. Cut into slices. Serve immediately.
