Blackstrap Pork Chops

1/3 cup molasses
3 tablespoons steak sauce (such as A.1)
1 1/2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
4 (6 ounce) bone-in center-cut pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
cooking spray


Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.

Sprinkle pork with salt and black pepper. Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add pork; cook 2 minutes on each side. Pour molasses mixture over pork; cook 2 minutes.

Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 pork chop and 1 1/2 tablespoons sauce.) 220 cal, 5.7g fat, 21.4g pro, 19.4g carb, 58mg chol, 414mg sod.
