Kathy-Lee's Chicken Lickin Pork Chops

6-8 lean pork chops (1/2 to 1 in thick)
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can Campbell'sŪ Chicken Gumbo soup (un-diluted)
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper


Sift together dry ingredients into a pie plate.

Wash chops and coat chops well on each side with flour mixture.

Add about 4 Tbs. of oil to a hot skillet and brown chops well on both sides. Remove from skillet and wipe out all oil.

Return to skillet and add can of Chicken Gumbo soup, cover tightly and simmer on very low heat for about 45 minutes or until pork tests done.

Add up to 1/2 cup of water during cooking time if you wish.

Serve chops and gravy over a bed of steamed white rice made with chicken broth for liquid.
