Stuffed Pork Chops
6 large chops
1 onion finely chopped
4 slices stale bread
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place chops on bottom of 9 x 13 baking pan.
Stuffing: Soak bread in water. Saute onion in butter until golden. Squeeze water from bread and put in pan with the onion.
Mix thoroughly. Add spices and turn off heat. Add egg and mix, turning the mixture over and over until thoroughly
mixed.
Place a large spoonful of stuffing on top of each chop. Dilute soup with 1/2 can of water and pour over stuffing
and chops.
Bake 350 for 1 hour.
