Pork Roast by Jan B

1 pork roast
flour for dredging
1 package Lipton Onion Soup mix
1 (12 oz.) can Coke
vegetables, if desired

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Brown floured roast in roasting pan/Dutch oven on top of stove. Add Onion Soup mix, and Coke (2 cans if you are doing a stew and want more liquid). Add vegetables if wanted during the last hour.
Bake, covered, at 325 degrees for 2-3 hours.
Keep a watch on sauce, because it seems to all of a sudden get thicker, and will burn easy. Add water if necessary, a little at a time.

For the pork, can also add soy sauce, but use the reduced sodium, due to the high salt content in the Liptons.
