Spicy Sesame-Crusted Pork

Spicy Sesame-Crusted Pork (or Chicken)

1 Tbs. sugar
1 Tbs. soy sauce
1 Tbs. chopped peeled fresh ginger
1 Tsp. ground cinnamon
1 Tsp. pepper
1/2 Tsp. fennel seeds, crushed
1/4 Tsp. salt
1 garlic clove, crushed
4 (4 oz.) pork loin chops (or chicken breasts)
2 Tbs. all purpose flour
1 large egg white, lightly beaten
2 Tbs. sesame seeds
2 Tsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbs. water
1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
1 Tbs. soy sauce


Combine the first 8 ingredients in a large zip-top plastic bag and add the pork (or chicken). Seal bag and marinate in refrigerator for 8 hours.

Remove pork from bag; drede in flour. Dip chicken in egg white; sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork cook until done.

Combine water, lemon juice and soy sauce; drizzle mixture over pork. Yields 4 servings.
