Brunch on a Budget

1 (8 oz.) pkg. Brown 'n Serve sausage or kielbasa, cut in 1/2-inch thick pieces
5 slices bread, torn in pieces
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
5 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. milk
2 tsp. dry mustard


Place bread pieces on the bottom of a buttered 8 x 8-inch shallow casserole dish. Place sausage evenly over top of bread. Sprinkle with cheese. Stir together eggs, milk and mustard. Pour evenly over cheese. Cover. Refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
