Taco Seasoning Mix

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 tsp. dried minced onion
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. dried minced garlic
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. adobo seasoning
1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. ground chipotle (could use cayenne)
Mix all together and add to a pound of browned and drained hamburger. Add 3/4 of a cup of hot water and bring to a simmer. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
NOTES : Makes the equivalent of one packet.
