Grilled Beef Sirloin with Pistachio Pesto Sauce

Yield: 4 servings
4 sirloin steaks, about 1/2 lbs. each
salt, pepper, and oil
Pesto Sauce:
1 cup roughly chopped basil
2 garlic cloves
1/4 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
4 tbsp. olive oil
For the pesto sauce, put chopped basil, pistachios, garlic cloves and olive oil in a food processor. Blend to make a paste.
Season sirloin steaks with salt and pepper, then grill according to desired doneness.
Arrange steaks in serving plates, then spread a dollop of the pesto sauce on each steak.
Serve with baked potatoes and green salad.
