Grilled Bourbon Marinated Lamb Steaks
1 medium leg of lamb (about 8 lbs.) cut into 1/2" steaks
1-1/2 cups bourbon
3/4 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup olive oil
3 large garlic cloves, chopped
3 large onions, thinly sliced
Chutney, Mustard and slivered green onions (for serving)
Combine bourbon, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic and onions in a Ziploc bag. Mix well. Add steaks, seal and refrigerate at least 24 hours, turning occasionally.
1 hour before grilling, remove from refrigerator and let the steaks return to room temperature. Grill over medium high heat, about 7 minutes per side. The steaks should be slightly pink inside.
Serve with your favorite chutney, mustard and green onions on the side.
