Greek Pasta with Feta

8 oz. bow-tie pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 red onion -- cut in thin strips
5 cloves garlic -- minced
1 green bell pepper -- diced
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 (15 oz.) can whole tomatoes -- drained
1 (15 oz.) can cannellini beans -- drained
4 ounces feta cheese -- crumbled
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper


Cook pasta according to pkg. directions. Drain but do not rinse.

Heat oil in skillet over med-high heat. Add onion and garlic and saute, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Add green pepper, thyme, rosemary, and marjoram; saute 2 minutes more. Add tomatoes and beans and saute 2 minutes.

Remove pan from heat. Stir in feta, lemon juice, zest, salt and pepper. Let stand 2-3 minutes before tossing with pasta.
