Rosie's Lasagna

1 lb. of ground beef
1 (16 oz. or more)jar of RaguŽ spagetti sauce
1 box of lasagna noodles
1 (24 oz.) container cottage cheese
2 cups of mozzerella cheese(shredded) divided
2 eggs
1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese grated
salt and pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 350° F . Brown ground beef in large saucepan.

Put water to boil in large dutch oven. By the time the meat is browned the water should be ready for noodles, so add noodles to water, and add sauce to the browned ground beef.

In the meantime, mix cottage cheese, eggs, Parmesan and 1 cup of the mozzerella and salt and pepper together. When pasta is done, turn off meat and sauce and drain noodles and set aside.

To assemble you need a 9 by 13 baking dish. Pour 1 cup of sauce on bottom of pan layer 3 noodles side by side(they can overlap)spread a spoonful or more of cheese filling on each top with more sauce repeat twice more with cheese filling on top. Sprinkle with reserved cup of cheese cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, remove foil and bake for 15 minutes more.
