Crab Manicotti

8 manicotti shells or 20 large stuffing shells
1 (6 oz.) pkg frozen crabmeat, thawed
1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 Tbl. minced parsley
1 Tbl. grated onion
2/3 cup provolone cheese, grated

Sauce:
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. sugar
1 Cup chicken broth
3 tsp. Italian seasonings


Preheat oven to 375° F. and cook manicotti or shells according to directions on pkg.

Mix crabmeat and liquid, cheese (ricotta), walnuts, parsley, and onion. Stuff into shells. PLace in a single layer in a 11x7x2 inch baking pan and pour 1/2 the sauce over the shells or manicotti.

Sprinkle with provolone and bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Serve remaining sauce on the side.

Sauce:
Mix sauce ingredients and cook for about 15 minutes on simmer.
