Mushroom Pasta

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

3/4 cup dried mushrooms -- as exotic as poss.
boiling water -- to cover
3/4 lb. dried pasta -- prefer. penne
2/3 of a 26 oz. jar pasta sauce -- your favorite
salt and pepper -- to taste
Parmesan cheese -- garnish
chopped parsley -- garnish


Put up a big pot of water to boil. When it comes to a boil, add some salt and the pasta. Cook according to package directions. Drain.

While pasta is cooking, heat up pasta sauce. Drain mushrooms and squeeze out some of the water. Chop coarsely. Add to the sauce.

When pasta is done and drained, add sauce to pasta (either in pot or in big pasta bowl) and sprinkle with some parmesan cheese.

To serve, put 1/3 of the pasta in serving bowl, top with more parmesan and some chopped parsley.
