Sauce: Spaghetti Sauce by Phyllis

Spaghetti Sauce

4 (1-pound) cans crushed tomatoes
2 Tablespoons minced dehydrated onions
3 Tablespoons minced dehydrated garlic
1 (12-ounce) can tomato paste
2 teaspoons salt
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 Tablespoon dried sweet basil
1 Tablespoon dried oregano

--Optional---

2 pounds extra lean ground beef, or Italian sausage, or a mix of both, or frozen meatballs


Combine all ingredients except meat in a large saucepan or crockpot. Simmer 3-4 hours. Or put it in an oven-safe pot and cook it in the oven at 300 degrees all night.

Brown meat or sausage and drain well, add to sauce mix about 1 hour before it is done.
