Red Gravy Spaghetti

Red Gravy (Tomato Sauce) Spaghetti

1 (28 0z.) can tomato puree
1 Cup water
salt and fresh ground black pepper
3 Tbl. parsley
1 tsp. oregano
2 Tbl. basil
2 tsp. garlic powder
3 cloves, garlic, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
3 Tbl. olive oil
olive oil pan spray


Coat bottom of a 6 qt. pan with olive oil spray. Sauté garlic and onion in liquid olive oil until soft aproximately 3- 5 minutes, but do not brown. Add tomato, water and all the spices. Stir. Bring to a low boil, stirring occasionally. Lower heat and simmer for hours allowing sauce to breathe, stirring occasionally.
