Grandma Anderson's Sour Cream 2-Crust Pie

1 c sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1 c sour cream
1 c chopped raisins
2 c apples, peeled and chopped
crust for 2 crust pie


Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Add sour cream, raisins and apples. Line pie pan with crust. Pour in filling. Cover with top crust. Sprinkle with additional sugar and ake for 50 to 60 minutes at 350.



Sour Cream Raisin Pie

1 c raisins
1 c buttermilk
2 tbsp butter
1 c sugar
3 egg yolks
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp cornstarch
3 egg whites for meringue
6 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar


Steam raisins until tender in 1 c of water. Mix the remaining ingredients well. Add to raisins, bring to a boil and lower heat an simmer until thick. Put into pie shell.

Beat egg whites until they hold peaks. Add 6 tbsp sugar and beat. Add cream of tartar, mix. Spoon on filling and brown in 375 oven.



Sour Cream Raisin Pie

1 c sugar
1 c sour cream
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 c raisins
3 egg yolks
1/2 tsp cloves
baked pie shell
meringue


Combine ingredients and boil until thick and clear. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue.

1 c brown sugar
1 c sour cream
1 c raisins
2 eggs, separated
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp butter
1 baked pie shell
meringue for 1 pie


Boil soaked raisins until done. Heat cream, then add sugar, egg yolks, flour, butter, and raisins. Bring to boil. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue.


Sour Cream Raisin Pie

1 c sour cream
1 c sugar
2 rounded tbsp flour
3 egg yolks
1/2 to 3/4 c raisins
1 baked pie shell
meringue


Mix flour and sugar. Add egg yolks and a little cream to make a smooth paste. Cook in a double boiler over low heat, stirring often, until thick. Pour into a 9inch baked pie shell. Cover with meringue and bake utnil delicately browned. Cool thoroughly before cutting.
