Apple Pan Pie

5 cups flour
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 cups Crisco®
2 egg yolks
1 cup cold water

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Mix and pat into a 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet with 1 inch sides.


Filling:
14 apples -- peeled and sliced
2 to 2 1/2 cups sugar
5 heaping Tbsp. flour

Mix and pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and dabs of margarine. Bake at 350º F. for about 50 minutes.

Drizzle soft icing over top and chill 2 hours.




Apple Pan Pie

1 yellow cake mix
1/3 cup melted butter
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Mix together until crumbly. Pat mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread 1 can of apple Thank You pie filling on top of the crust.

Mix:
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon

Sprinkle on top of apple filling.

Mix:
1 egg
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Spread on top. Bake at 350º F. for 40 to 50 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
