Banana Cream Pie

3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
pinch of salt
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 cup milk
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 bananas
1 baked pie shell
whipped cream


Preheat milk. Mix sugar, flour and salt; add warm milk and butter. Cook over low heat a few minutes, then add beaten egg yolks. Continue cooking until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Add vanilla.

Into baked pie shell, slice 2 bananas. Over this, pour half of the custard mixture. Slice 2 more bananas, making another layer of banana and custard. Top with whipped cream.
