Chocolate Covered Cherry Pie

6 oz. pkg. milk chocolate chips
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
2 Tbl. Butter
1 tsp. almond flavoring
Dash of salt
1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
Maraschino Cheries

Over medium heat, melt together the chips, milk, butter, almond flavoring and salt. Remove from heat. Add pie filling. Stir and put in baked shell. Garnish with maraschino cherries. Serve with whipped topping and chopped nuts.
