Cranberry Pie

pastry for 2-crust pie
3 cups fresh cranberries, cleaned, rinsed and dried
1 cup raisins
2/3 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
3 Tbsp. flour
pinch of salt
1-3/4 cup sugar
grated rind of 1 orange
1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg
2 Tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place cranberries, raisins and walnuts in large bowl.

Mix together in a small bowl the flour, sugar, salt, rind, and nutmeg. Pour over cranberry mixture. Mix well so that sugar is well incorporated.

Pour into pie shell. Dot with butter. Top with lattice strips. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees, reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 35 minutes more.

May be refrigerated for several days.
