Crust: Ordway Pie Crust

Ordway Pie Crust

2 cups flour (King Arthur)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cp. Butter (cold)
1/2 cp. Lard (cold)
1/4-1/2 cup milk (cold)


In a large bowl whisk together flour and salt. Make sure butter and lard is as cold as you can get it. Cut butter and lard into flour until the size of small peas. Sprinkle with milk and stir with each small addition until ball of dough is able to be formed. Divide dough in half to form top and bottom crust.

* You may not need to use all the milk, and make sure everything is cold.
