1 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup boiling water
food coloring (optional)
2 tablespoons fruit flavor jello (also optional)
Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan; add boiling water and cook over medium heat until thickened and clear stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add food coloring and jello. (red and strawberry jello for strawberry ie,orange color and peach jello for peach pie and etc.
