Glace Strawberry Pie
2 boxes strawberries, hulled
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 baked pie shell
Combine sugar and cornstarch in saucepan,add one box berries and mash them. cook over low heat stirring so doesn't corch, till it starts to thicken. Cool.
Pile the other box of berries into shell and cover them with the cooked berries. Best served same day as made.
