Self frosting Lemon Pie

1 lemon, juice and grated rind
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks, well beaten
1 egg whites, stiffly beaten
3 tbsp flour
3/4 cup milk
small piece of butter, melted (exact amount not given)


Preheat oven to 350° F.

Stir the lemon pulp, juice and rind together with the sugar, egg yolks, flour and milk. Add the butter.

Fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake for 40 minutes at 350.
