Macadamia Nut Pie

1 crust for 9inch pie
4 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup honey
3 tbsp butter, melted and cooled
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts


Preheat oven to 325° F.

Prepare pie crust and line pie pan - use a fluted, stand up edge.

In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, corn syrup, honey, butter and vanilla. Beat about 5 minutes with electric mixer at medium speed, until light and frothy. Stir in the chpped nuts.

Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until crust is golden and filling is slightly soft in the center but set at the edges. Do not overbake.

Cool completely on a wire rack and garnish with whipped cream and additional nuts if desired.
