John Y. Brown Pie
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup melted butter
2 slightly beaten eggs
6 oz pkg of butterscotch chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla
unbaked pie shell (9 inch)
Preheat oven to 325° F.
Mix together the flour and sugar. Add melted butter. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour into pie shell and bake for one hour (or until golden) at 325. Pie will still wiggle when done, it sets as it cools. serves 8.
