posted by Jennifer A 06-27-98 4:01 PM Pate Brisse 3 crusts: 3 3/4 cups flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp sugar 6 Tbs. butter 1 cup CriscoŽ 1/2 cup water (ice cold ) Process flour, salt, and sugar to mix. Cut in shortening(Crisco), pour in water, while processing til mixed, do not overprocess. Form into 3 balls; wrap in plastic and chill before using. Also freezes well.
