Chocolate crumb crust
8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
1 cup smooth or chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup Heavy cream -- cold
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate -- finely chopped
1/3 cup chopped salted peanuts
whipped cream


Beat at medium speed untill smoothly blended the cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, and vanilla.

In separate bowl beat on medium high speed the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Using a large rubber spatula, fold half of the whipping cream into the peanut butter mixture to lighten it. Beat in the rest of the mixture of cheese. Spread the mixture evenly in the pie crust. Press a sheet of plastic wrap directly on the surface and refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours.

Stir the heavy cream and unsalted butter in sauce pan over medium heat until it boils. Remove pan from heat and stir in bittersweet chocolate. Let cool to lukewarm, pour the glaze over the top of the pie and spread evenly.

If you wish sprinkle the top with chopped peanuts.

Refrigerate for at least one hour, or as much as 3 days. Serve with whipped cream.
