Peanut Butter Pie

Crust: (or use ready-made chocolate or graham cracker crust)
1 1/4 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

Filling
8 oz cream cheese softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 Cup milk
2 Cups Cool Whip


Preheat oven to 375° F.

Combine crust ingredients and press into a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Cool.

In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese, peanut butter, and sugar. Mix in milk until smooth. Fold in whipped cream.

Optional: coat inside of crust with chocolate sauce. Gently spoon filling into crust and garnish with chopped peanuts, shaved chocolate, cookie crumbs, or drizzle with chocolate sauce, if desired. Freeze until firm, about 4 hrs. Serve with chocolate sauce if desired.
