Dear Abby’s Pecan Pie
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup dark brown syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
3 whole eggs-slightly beaten
1 heaping cup pecans
pastry for 9-inch single crust
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Mix syrup, sugar, salt, vanilla. Add slightly beaten eggs. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle pecans over filling.
Bake in 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.
