Pecan Cream Cheese Pie

1 (8-oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
4 medium eggs
6 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup corn syrup
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked

Soften the cream cheese at room temperature. Cream together in a bowl with 1 egg, 4 tablespoons sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Keep stirring and beating until everything is well creamed with no lumps.

In a separate bowl, beat together the corn syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 3 eggs, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the pie shell. Level it off, and spread the chopped pecans on top. Pour the other mixture over the pecans.

Bake in a 375F oven for 35 minutes.
