posted by joy 06-18-98 9:27 AM Pecan Pie 3 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup light corn syrup (KaroŽ) 2 Tbl. melted butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 1-1/2 cups pecans 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell Preheat oven to 400° F. Beat eggs slightly. Beat in sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, salt and pecans. Pour into pastry shell. Bake 400 fifteen minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and continue baking 35 minutes, or until it doesn't jiggle when you move it. Don't overbake as it will continue to cook after you take it out of the oven.
