Pecan Pie

1/2 cup butter -- melted
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
4 eggs -- beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Unbaked 9-inch pie shell


Preheat oven to 325° F.

Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup in pan and cook until sugar dissolves. Stir constantly. Let cool slightly.

Add eggs, vanilla and salt (stir constantly as you are adding the eggs). Mix well, pour into unbaked pie shell and top with pecan halves.

Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.
