Betty's Pecan Pie
(Makes two pies)

1 Bottle KaroŽ Dark Corn Syrup
1 Cup Sugar
6 Eggs
1 Stick Melted Butter
1 Cup Pecan Halves
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 Teaspoon Salt


Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Beat eggs until frothy, add sugar and beat well. Add corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla and salt and mix well.

Arrange pecans on the bottom of two unbaked pie shells. Pour mixture into pie shells and bake 15 minutes at 450 degrees.

Turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake another 35 minutes or until pie filling has set about half way from outer edge.

Center should still be somewhat soft (filling will continue to set while it's cooling).

Let cool and serve with sweetened whipped cream.
