Mary Margaret Mcbride’s Pumpkin Pie
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 1/2 cups cooked pumpkin
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1 slightly beaten egg
2 tablespoons dark molasses
Mix in a bowl the sugar, flour, salt, and spices. Add pumpkin, milk, egg and molasses; stir until smooth.
Pour into a pie pan lined with pastry. Bake on center rack in 375ºF. oven about 40 to 45 minutes or until firm.
