Streusel Topping
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1 Tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Mix all ingredients and sprinkle over pie before baking.
Here's another one that I put over a sweet potato casserole:
Streusel Topping for Sweet Potato or Pies
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
Mix flour, sugar and nuts. Cut in butter with pastry cutter or fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over sweet potato caserole before baking.
