Fresh Fruit Pizza
1 cup flour
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup finely chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Mix flour, sugar, and nuts. Add butter and mix well.
Press into a 9" pie pan, but just up sides, not on rim.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool.
Filling:
Mix 8 ounces cream cheese with 1/2 cup powdered sugar and spread on cooled crust.
Place desired fruit on creamed cheese mixture (peaches, nectarines, strawberries, bananas, bing cherries, any fruit except fresh pineapple), then mix 1/4 cup apricot preserves with small amount of water, drizzle over fruit for glaze.
Chill until time to serve.
