Pizza Dough

1/2 to 3/4 cup warm water (105-115 degrees)
1 pkg. (1 T.) dry yeast
1 t. sugar
2 c. flour
1 T. vegetable oil
1/2 t. salt

Combine 1/4 c. of the water with the yeast and sugar. Stir to dissolve the yeast and let stand 5 minutes until bubbly.

Put the flour, oil, and salt into a food processor and process with the steel blade for about 5 seconds. Add the yeast mixture to the flour and process about 10 seconds until blended. Turn on the processor and drizzle just enough of the remaining water through the feed tube so the dough turns into a ball that cleans the sides of the bowl. Process so that the ball of dough turns around in the bowl about 25 times. Remove the dough and let it set for about 10 minutes covered.

It is now ready to spread out onto your pizza pan. Spread dough on pan, cover with pizza sauce and your favorite toppings. Bake at 400 degrees till the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
