2 3/4 cups flour
1/4 cup very warm water
1 package traditional yeast
1 cup warm water
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Spinkle yeast on 1/4 cup water.
Mix garlic, Italian seasoning and cayenne in 1 cup water. Let stand ten minutes.
Stir sugar and salt into flour. Mix in wet ingredients and knead for 3-5 minutes until it forms a smooth ball (add extra flour if sticky). Let rise at least 20 minutes and as much as 5 hours.
Spread into pizza pan and add your favorite toppings. Make a thich rich bready crust that is just delicious!
